The day starts off with some local "Kopi" (coffee) or "Teh" (tea) where we get to know each other better and go over the planned schedule at a variety of locations and technical aspects of the shoot. Prior to this, we would have emailed you to review your skill level and customised the tour to suit your needs and interest.
Whether you're picking up your dslr camera for the first time, want to learn positioning and the manual settings on your fantastic handphone camera, or are already semi-professional and want to up your photography and videography game with the local knowledge of the best spots to shoot at, I've got you covered.
Street photographers will love the historical sites of Chinatown and Little India, and landscape and urbanscape lovers will be bowed over by the futuristic lines and shapes of the iconic buildlings - MBS (Marina Bay Sands), Esplanade, Helix Bridge, ArtScience Museum.
You can expect to learn:
1) Composition (Angles & Lines)
2) Natural and Artifical lighting on your subject
3) Master Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO
4) Focal Lengths and Bokeh
5) Day tips on Neutral Density Filters and Cross Polarizing Filters
6) Night tips on sharp, clear images and long exposures

Can I bring more people?
Sure! This is your own private tour and you can bring along your travel companions at no additional charge. However, it is best to keep the group to 4 people per guide so all of you get to enjoy the tutelage and no one gets left out.
Can I choose the locations?
Yes! Just let us know prior to the shoot!
Can the instructors take photographs of us during the shoot?
Our instructors will be more than happy to help you take a few snaps at the different locations.
I have an emergency and can't make it. Can I get reschedule / get a refund?
Cancellations for any reason made up to 7 days before the commencement of the tour will receive a 80% refund. Cancellations made between 7 days and up to 24 hours before the tour will be given a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the tour, or if you fail to show up at the meeting point within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, will receive no refund. In any case, rescheduling is possible (availability permitting) for the fee of 50USD.
Can I choose my tour guide?
We reserve the right to provide an instructor of our choosing, which we guarantee is competent of their position and people we trust and work with. Your assigned guide might change from initial notification until the tour departure due to illness, engagements or any other reason deemed necessary by Whee Captures.
What happens if it rains?
In the event of wet weather conditions, and before the tour commences, you have the option of: a) continuing the tour as planned and we will try our best to concentrate the tour to covered areas. At prior request, we can provide a plastic poncho or umbrella. Or;
Can you help us rent gear?
We understand that travelling with all your gear can be tough with strict luggage allowances, and it can troublesome to rent and return certain lens you want to try out. Hence, we can rent some gear to you at additional cost if you wish:
